Pre-Competitive 1
One 45 minute class per week – $125
Mondays 4:45-5:30pm (AOP)
Saturdays 7:15-8:00am (AOP) * Saturday Sept 23rd only – 9-9:45am
Saturdays 8:15-9:00am (AOP) * Saturday Sept 23rd only – 10-10:45am

Pre-Competitive 2
Two 45 min classes per week – $225

Pre-Comp Mini Meet – Thursday November 30th

Pre-Competitive 1 (one 45 minute class per week) is specifically designed for swimmers aged 6-9 who have completed Red Cross level 6 and/or have been assessed by one of our coaches for entry to the program. Focus is on building stamina and improving technique of freestyle and backstroke and learning breaststroke and butterfly technique.

Instructor/Swimmer ratio is 1 – 8
Requirements
Swimmers typically aged 6-9 years with Red Cross level 6 or above(or as assessed by coach)

This progressive  program teaches swimmers  important competitive swim skills, and focuses on  skill progressions: butterfly, breaststroke, backstroke, freestyle, starts and turns. Swimmers learn to put together whole skill-sets, one step at a time.

Pre-Competitive 2  (two 45 minute classes per week) is designed for the more advanced pre competitive swimmer who is 6-10yrs old, completed Red Cross level 6 and/or have been assessed by one of our coaches for entry to the program. Swimmers work at building stamina and further improving technique on freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly. Swimmers will also improve on turns, dives and learn the competitive swimming rules.

Instructor/Swimmer ratio is 1 – 8
Requirements
Swimmers typically aged 6-10 years
Red Cross level 6 or above (or as assessed by coach)
Swimmers must demonstrate basic breaststroke and butterfly technique and be proficient in freestyle and backstroke

This progressive  program teaches swimmers  important competitive swim skills, and focuses on  skill progressions and building stamina: butterfly, breaststroke, backstroke, freestyle, starts and turns. Swimmers learn to put together whole skill-sets, one step at a time. This program is geared to the swimmers’ progression to the Whitby Dolphins competitive Novice group.
