The 2017 Whitby Dolphins Swim-a-Thon is here!
Raising money through our annual Swim-a-Thon is essential for supporting the development of Whitby Dolphins swimmers of all ages and levels.
Funds raised this year will enable us to purchase new lane ropes and video equipment. This new equipment will greatly benefit both athletes and their coaches by establishing a sense of pride in our club.  It will enhance the coaches’ ability to improve the swimmers’ technique, which in turn will give our athletes a higher confidence in their abilities.
Our fundraising goal for the 2017 Swim-a-thon is $20,000, which will require us to challenge every swimmer in the club. Our swimmers will be swimming 2-8 km (our youngest swimmers will strive to swim continuously for more than one hour). Out of the pool, the challenge is for every swimmer to raise at least $250 towards our goal.
Event date: May 14, 2017
Time: 11 am -3 pm  (treats for the swimmers and fun prize draws following the pool time)
Location: Pan Am Pool (Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre)
Goal:  $20 000
