Bottle Drive Fundraiser

Kristie Langford, National group swimmer, is organizing a bottle drive to help raise money for our team’s training camp in Florida this March. We are asking that over the next couple of weeks you save your alcohol bottles up and bring them to the Whitby Dolphins Christmas Party on December 16th. National group swimmers will be at the party to collect the bottles.

2011 Canada Cup Fundamentals Camp

November 26, 2011 – Four of our swimmers were selected to attend the Canada Cup fundamentals Camp on November 26th. It is a camp designed for swimmers aged 9-12 swimming at a B standard and above. The camp is held, at the Etobicoke Olympium, in conjunction with the Canada Cup and run by Swim Ontario and Swim Canada coaches.

Team Report – 2011 Autumn Invitational

November 5-6, 2011 – While the Harvest Invitational meet was going on in the shallow end of the Olympium, the deep end was a flurry of activity with the Autumn Invitational. Many of the Central Regional teams were in attendance, making this meet a very competitive one. For the majority of our swimmers this was their first splash into the 2011-12 competitive season. There were many personal best swims and hundreds of seconds taken off – well done Dolphins!
